The “Homecoming” is official. Aston Villa has reached a verbal agreement in principle to re-sign England international Tammy Abraham from Turkish side Besiktas.1
The deal, worth €21 million (£18.2m) plus performance-based add-ons, also includes a significant player-exchange component.2 As reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, 19-year-old Turkish defender Yasin Özcan will head to Besiktas as part of the transaction.
